Just like DoTA, the items to equip for any heroes chosen by the players almost similar in the mechanics. But, since this is the improved version of DoTA, items in Heroes of Newerth (HoN) have their own unique namings. For information regarding HoN items, please refer HERE.

The link will show all the available items for HoN along with the value of trade. Also, for new players convenience, there is a recipe bar which giving information regarding any basic item combination to improve the characters.

The mechanics of the item combination might require buying of the recipe and some might not require players to buy the recipes.
